As Scholz und Volkmer states, "they are no doctors or so called 'demigods dressed in white.'" Regardless of that fact, the old spa town of Wiesbaden in Germany definitively have some JavaScript Doctors, who in an almost magical way have created an interface which is simultaneously a visual treat and interface experience.

This German new media company have created a site which, even if it is still under construction, shows they are fully competent in both advanced scripting for the web environment as well as having complete control of their aesthetic output. The site mostly uses comfortable emergency room greens in different hues, and their sense of type and animation within their interface further enhances this site.

It is relieving to find designers who do not try too hard in getting their message across, but rather captures the viewer through solid ideas, great interface design, and beautifully executed simple designs. Scholz und Volkmer know what they want to say, and they say it in an outmost refined way.

If you are looking for a site void of content and full of aggressively presented eye candy, this site is not for you. Scholz und Volkmer's site is the complete opposite, simple, elegant precise, and to the point. While I visited the site I believe my pulse drastically fell from the normal "being stressed at work pulse," to a much more relaxed state upon exciting. Maybe this site reduces the risk of having a seizure at work. If this holds true, Scholz und Volkmer, keep the Wiesbaden tradition alive.
